On October 5th representatives from the Anti Defamation League led a workshop with students at the Middle School of Plainville (MSP). Students shared their own thoughts and stories while learning about many different forms of discrimination. The positive message encouraged students to have a voice, support each other, and become allies instead of bystanders. Students at MSP followed up on these topics with small group discussions with their classroom teachers. Following this workshop, training sessions will empower students to become peer leaders through working as allies. This learning is part of MSP's goal to inspire and prepare students to be leaders that have a positive impact on their school and within the community.
