True to our school’s mission, the Middle School of Plainville is “A Great Place to Learn!” Each day at the middle school, we work together to ensure that high-quality teaching and learning is happening in a safe and supportive educational environment and that each student is provided with the tools, resources, and supports needed to be successful in the world today. Our collective focus on students, teaching, and learning aligns with the district vision to inspire and prepare lifelong learners to follow their passion, engage in their communities, and positively impact our global society. At MSP, we have many points of pride! We are proud of our award-winning Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program that supports the social-emotional well being of each student. We are proud of our talented and caring faculty and staff members, who continue to refine teaching and learning practices through Professional Learning Communities in order to deliver the highest quality instruction to our students. We are proud of our state of the art STEAM Lab that brings learning to a new level through the real world, hands-on, engaging curriculum, instruction, and opportunities. And we are especially proud of our students, who each day demonstrate their skills, creativity, compassion, and energy in the classroom, school athletics, music programs, clubs, community service, and more! I encourage parents and caregivers to become involved at MSP as well. Please consider joining our active Parent Teacher Club, supporting a fundraiser, volunteering, or attending programming offered throughout the year.
